Essay on the paradox of the actor

For the past 18 years, actor and director Iggy Malmborg has toured across Europe. His performances span a wide range of aesthetics and styles. In this play the audience is given insight into one of the actor’s most challenging dilemma. 

The title Essay alludes to the word French word essai, which means precisely “attempt.” The actor approaches the stage work in the same exploratory manner as in the essay form of literature or film.
